Chlorophytum is a famous genus of almost 200 species and is native plants of the subtropical and tropical regions of Asia, Australia, and Africa. This plant belongs to the Asparagus family and is known to be one of the evergreen Perennial plants. They can grow up to 10-15 cm tall and climb up the trails too. The flowers of the plant are usually quite small and white in color and flowers on the panicle of the trees that are about 120 cm long.
Spider plants have great exotic look and these can be potted in pots, hanging baskets, spiraled around the wires or the poles at home. It is a fast growing growing low light plant which prefers to live in human livable temperature range. Chlorophytum is also known as Safed Musali in India and used for medicinal purposes.
