Chamaedorea elegans is extremely beautiful palm plant, it is popularly known with many names like parlor palm, cane palm, neanthe bella palm etc. Parlor Palm is species of small palm plant native to the Southern Mexico.

It looks amazingly elegant with pale green leaves, like areca palm it is planted in groups but unlike areca palm it is very slow grower. Parlor palm tolerates low light and low humidity conditions better than areca palm, though it prefers medium to high humidity and bright indirect light.

It can be kept indoors in low light conditions or with artificial light, it will stand static and grow very slow and if it is kept near to a sunny window it will create a stunning tropical look, still grow slowly.
